Ministry Fair
On Sunday, August 8 we will have a Ministry Fair in the Garden Room during Packet Day – from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. All parishioners are encouraged to come over to look over all the parish volunteer opportunities, from the garden and senior services to youth ministry and the hospitality committee. School parents are encouraged to come by, too, after packet pick up. Refreshments will be available.
Parish Council Openings

The Parish Council will be filling three positions this summer. St. Peter's Parish Council is a permanent leadership body acting as an advisory board to the pastor as well as leading the parish in forming policy, strategic planning, and directing and coordinating efforts to realize the parish mission. In addition to the pastor, the council includes nine parishioners discerned by members of the previous council and parishioners at-large. The Parish Council meets monthly and deliberates on issues of parish-wide concern, arriving at decisions by consensus. The current council membership is listed on the front of the bulletin and on the website. Individuals interested in applying should contact Mark Hague at Hague.Mark@epamail.epa.gov or 361-6250. The application form is available here [click here] or in the parish office and can be returned to any Parish Council member or Father Cook. Applications must be received by July 25 and the discernment process will be complete by September 1.
