God of Wisdom,

In our effort to discern what is Your will

for our work and our Parish,

grant to us the reason of Your Spirit

so that we many find Your direction instead of our own.

May we be reflective and understanding,

making decisions based on what is best for those

In our parish and community.

And always holding fast to what is good.

God of Comfort,

As we seek to bring Christ’s joy to the broken hearted,

His mercy and compassion to those who seek forgiveness,

His love to those who have been rejected,

and His strength to all who cannot stand alone,

May we offer to them

a vision of the good like that is grounded in the

Gospel of hope.

Loving God,

Your Spirit moves where it will.

And it can be discerned wherever

people of good will are searching for truth.

Help us to be open to all that is good.

This prayer we offer to you, God of all creation.
